There are many great ski areas and resorts on the Cascade Loop, with a variety of conditions all through the season. Mission Ridge is often the first to have snow, and Mount Baker between the Loop and Canada is the highest peak in the North Cascades and holds the record for the heaviest seasonal snowfall in the US! In the 1998 season, Mount Baker received an amazing 95 feet of snow! While the entire Cascade Loop is NOT going to get 95 feet of snow, it does get enough to have a ball. Whether you like to downhill ski or snowboard, there's plenty of snow to have winter fun all the way around the Loop.
