Northwest Glass Quest

16th Annual Northwest Glass Quest – February 14-23, 2025!

Isn’t it time you went on a quest? You know, searching for something elusive and beautiful, something other people want. Now is your chance with the 16th Annual Northwest Glass Quest.

You search Camano Island and Stanwood for plastic clue balls. When you find one, follow the instructions inside and get a beautiful hand-blown glass ball from the father-son team of  Mark & Marcus Ellinger.

The clue balls are hidden in plain sight in area parks and stores. They are in public locations (not hidden behind store counters or other things for sale). But, they are sometimes cleverly disguised. Is that an orange in the supermarket, or is it something else?  Is that a pine cone or your key to art?

Thousands come out to quest for art each year, but only the persistent and lucky go home with the art.

For those who just want to try their luck, there is also a daily drawing for a beautiful Glass Quest ball.
