Farmstand Fresh
Guests can meet the growers, visit the fields and farms, and bite into summertime at Skagit Valley’s farm stands. Brimming with freshly-picked and locally-grown Skagit Valley bounty (think plump berries, crisp beets, fresh meats, field flowers, tender greens, sweet corn, etc.,) seventeen produce stands and farm stores welcome visitors to Genuine Skagit Valley's Farmstand Fresh, a summer-long celebration highlighting growers and food producers from across the region beginning July 1 through August 31, 2022.
Visitors at participating stands can sign up for a free 15-minute Zoom session provided by a local chef. These personal “Chef Chats” offer tips and tricks on cooking and preserving. Plus, shoppers can enter to win gift certificates to Skagit Valley restaurants. Genuine Skagit Valley encourages our visitors and locals alike to explore farms, savor the fresh flavors of Skagit, and connect to a local chef for some virtual kitchen inspiration!
