Head up the butte on a sandy jeep trail until you see a little hiking trail sign about 1/4 mile up. Either hike up the jeep trail or use the hiking trail. If you follow the hiking trail, you will have an option to split off and hike up to the top of a shorter hill, which also promises great views. Continue hiking up until you reach a false summit - sorry--you've still got more ground to cover. After a breather, head toward the radio & TV towers at the top. If you're lucky you'll see paragliders jumping off!
From the top you have views of Lake Chelan past Wapato Point, as well as Columbia River views overlooking Douglas County.
