This 90-mile scenic byway stretches from Monroe in Snohomish County to Peshastin in Chelan County. Landscape and environment will change from semi-urban in Monroe, to small town America as you pass through the Sky Valley (Sultan, Gold Bar and Skykomish) as you ascend the pass. The roadway is lined with lush evergreen forest, and rushing Spring snow-melt-fed rivers, streams and waterfalls. Follow the Tumwater Canyon (home to amazing Fall foliage, with photo pull-over spots a-plenty, spawning salmon in the Fall and amazing rapids in the Spring) until you come to the Bavarian Village of Leavenworth. Plan to spend some time there. There is a LOT to do! Your journey on the Stevens Pass Greenway ends in the small community of Peshastin, home to some of the best pears and prettiest views in the world.
